Surrey Highways are proposing to reduce the speed limit to 20mph on Kingsland and Village Street in Newdigate Village.
To balance safety with the physical layout of the area, this change will be implemented using signs and road markings only. While we initially considered traffic calming measures (such as build-outs), the narrow width of the carriageway means installing physical traffic features is not possible at this location.
