Annual Meeting of the Parish
The Parish council held the Annual Meeting of the Parish on Monday 9th March. We would like to thank all those from the community who took the time to attend in person or submit their reports to share with residents. It was great to see so many new faces and residents are always welcome to our meetings. All the reports will be added to our website.
Village Litter Pick – Organised by Phill Crutcher
A massive thank you to everyone who helped out at the Council’s recent litter pick! We filled 15 bags, which is a brilliant effort. We’re now encouraging everyone to ‘Keep Your Patch Clear’—it’s amazing how much difference it makes looking after the area right outside our front doors. To help out, Phill has available litter pickers and Hi-Viz vests for residents to use and keep at home, so do get in touch if you would like some equipment. Please share any photos of your ‘cleanup’ efforts so we can post them on our website and keep the village spirit going.
Planning Enforcement
The Parish have seen numerous sites being developed without the relevant planning permission over the past few months or even years and recognise that this is most disturbing for the immediate neighbours and of course the local wildlife! Of course, we are not alone and many local villages in Mole Valley are dealing with the same planning issues. In the first instance please do report it via the Mole Valley Website portal providing as much detail as possible with supporting photos/evidence. This will keep all planning breaches centralised and you will receive a confirmation email with appropriate reference number whilst it is being investigated further. Use this website address: https://www.molevalley.gov.uk/planning-building/planning-enforcement/
Public Rights of Way
The Surrey County Council Countryside Access team is responsible for ensuring all the county’s rights of way remain accessible to all who use them each year. As the team increasingly rely on people submitting reports to highlight any problems they encounter, please continue to report any concerns on the Report it Section on the Surrey County Council website or call 0300 200 103.
Annual Meeting of the Council
The Annual Meeting of the Council will be held on Monday 11th May 2026 starting at 8pm. At this meeting the election of the Chairman and Vice Chair will be voted on for the up-coming year, as well as allocating committee members to both the Planning and Finance Committees.
