Parish Councillor Resignation and Vacancy Notice
The Parish Council wishes to announce that Cllr John McKenzie-Sage has formally resigned from their role as Parish Councillor. We would like to take this opportunity to express our sincere thanks to John for his dedicated service and valuable contributions to the community over the past years. John’s commitment, time, and efforts have been greatly appreciated by fellow councillors and residents alike. As a result of this resignation, there are now three vacancies on the parish council. Mole Valley District Council – Alert Service
My Mole Valley is a service accessed via the home page of the MVDC website. If you select the ‘where you live’ link you will be invited to choose an address (start typing and options will appear). A range of information will be displayed for your chosen address including: waste collection dates, contact details for your local MVDC Councillors and planning information which is relevant to that property. You can also sign up to the email notification service, this gives you the option to receive a weekly reminder email of bin collections and any service updates MVDC issues.
St John’s First Aid Session
The Parish Council is looking into hosting a friendly and practical first aid training session with St John Ambulance. It would cover basic first aid skills and how to use a defibrillator – all really useful things to know in the community. The session would last around three hours and take place at the village hall on a weekend day.
If this sounds like something you’d be interested in, please drop the Clerk an email or pop a note with your contact details into the letterbox. This will help us get an idea of how many people might like to come along. The session will be completely free, and everyone who takes part will receive a certificate from St John Ambulance.
