The funeral of Her Royal Highness, The Duchess of Kent, will take place on Tuesday, 16th September, at 2:00 pm at Westminster Cathedral.
Ahead of the funeral, The Duchess of Kent’s coffin will rest for a few days in the Private Chapel at Kensington Palace.
On the afternoon of Monday, 15th September, The Duchess’s coffin will be transported to Westminster, where the Rite of Reception and Vespers will take place. The coffin will then remain overnight in the Lady Chapel.
On the afternoon of Tuesday, 16th September, His Majesty The King and The Queen, along with members of the Royal Family, will join The Duke of Kent and members of The Duchess’s family for the Requiem Mass for The Duchess of Kent.
