[UPDATE 28 JUNE – The Parkgate Road is all clear. Work was completed on Friday.]
After receiving reports of a leak on Parkgate Road, the road has been closed while SES Water work to fix the leak.

There are two holes in the road, with debris located on alternate sides of the road. Highways have closed the road, and set up diversions.

SES Water’s statement:
“We have a repair and maintenance job in our system from 24 June to 30 June 2025. The road closure is determined by the highway agency. The job number is J0JGL2 to repair the ferrule on the water main in the middle of the road between line of sewer line and the centre line.
A member of the public reported a leak via our website. Unfortunately, with some emergency work, we are unable to contact all our customers.”
