Village Litter Pick
Due to the torrential rain, the last fixed date for the village litter pick had to be cancelled. Therefore Phill Crutcher has organised another date on Saturday 30th November, it would be great if you could come along and help, litter pickers and tabards will be provided.

Dog Fouling
The Parish Council has sadly received complaints of dog mess on pavements and around the Brocus. As well as being very unpleasant, it is also dangerous as whilst rare, contact with dog excrement can cause Toxocariasis – a nasty infection that can lead to dizziness, nausea, asthma and even blindness or seizures. Whilst most dog owners are responsible can we remind others that we do have dog bins located in the village to use or suggest that you take it home! Owners can be issued with a Fixed Penalty Notice of up to £100 if they fail to clear up after their dog.

Village Defibrillators
The village have two defibrillators, one located at Bob’s shop and one opposite the Surrey Oaks Public House. If needed in an emergency, phone 999 and you will be informed of the access key code and instructions for use. In the New Year, the Parish Council are looking to arrange a First Aid Session on a Saturday morning for all residents who would like to attend and this will include the use of the defibrillator.
