Village Litter
Pick Phill Crutcher organised this event and it was very well attended, so thank you for giving up your time and helping us make keep your village litter free! Residents managed to cover a larger area this time to include the roads coming into the village main street and collected more rubbish than ever before.

Allotments
The Parish Council manage eight allotment plots in the village (some have been sub-divided to give more residents the opportunity to become tenants, as the plots are reasonably large). In December, we have been advised that two more plots will become available for tenancy so please email the clerk if you would like to add your name to the waiting list.

Brickworks Update
The Parish Council are working in partnership with Surrey Wildlife Trust to continue to make improvements to this valuable asset within the community. Two new paths have been upgraded to benefit walkers using this fabulous nature reserve with the installation of a new surface and boarding. Sincere thanks must go to: Reigate and Redhill Anglers for volunteering their manpower to remove the old wooden walkway, Bill Kear and his team for installation and supplying of the new surface and Friends of Newdigate Brickworks for providing the refreshments. Please do come along and see what has been achieved so far but please remember to bring poo bags if you have your dog! If you would like to volunteer with Surrey Wildlife Trust please register on their website: https://www.surreywildlifetrust.org/events All details of future volunteering events at the Brickworks and at other locations can be found here.
